Hello Margaret! Tell us a little about yourself?

I'm approaching 70; most people would consider that old, but I’m still young at heart!

This year’s theme is #ChooseToChallenge. Tell us about a time when you were faced with an obstacle that you challenged.

One of most challenging things about my job was teaching children with difficulties that all things could be overcome, even learning to read.

Tell me a time you felt the most empowered.

I felt most empowered in my early 50’s. By then you have been through so many tough times or situations but have managed to overcome them all. You feel more confident in yourself and your self worth – that’s the key.

What was your dream job as a little girl?

I wanted to be a dancer.

If you could have dinner with 3 women, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Just one – my mother so I could tell her how much I appreciated her.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to 18 year old you?

The only advice I would give is don’t rush into things, but try to enjoy what you have and take each day as it comes.

How does wearing lingerie make you feel?

I enjoy wearing lovely underwear, always have, always will, no matter your age, it makes you feel good.
